As part of our studies on Systems and Societies this term Tangaroa Syndicate went to The Nelson District Court and visited the court rooms and the cells! We also learnt about the Maungatapu Murders and the history of the Burgess Gang. We visited sites around Nelson where the Gang were arrested and reflected on the changes in a modern day Law and Order System, compared with early Nelson.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon having lunch, playing with sports gear and walking up the Centre of New Zealand.
