Waimea College Adult & Community Education
Open for Enrolments
Enrolments are open for term one Waimea College Adult and Community Education courses which run through the months of Feb to Apr 2021. Up to forty courses are on offer to adults through a programme which includes Cooking, Computing & Technology, Languages, Art & Creativity, Health & Wellbeing, Home & Garden, Singing & Music, held at Waimea College. ABLAZE - THE 2019 TASMAN FIRES
Wakefield Village Hall, 10 Whitby Way,

February 5th 2021 marks the two-year anniversary of one of the most significant
events in the history of Nelson & Tasman - the 2019 Tasman Fires. To mark
this occasion, Nelson Provincial Museum, the regional museum of Nelson Tasman,
presents “Ablaze”.
The touring exhibition begins with the official
opening at the Wakefield Village Hall on Friday 5th February at 10.30am
and all members of the public are welcome. The Opening will acknowledge key
people in the community who played their part in supporting the community and
fighting the fires. There will be key note speakers such as Mayor Tim King
& Former Mayor Richard Kempthorne. The tour will then move onto other areas
around the Tasman region such as the Motueka Museum and more.
