Term 2 Reports - Discussion paper These will be available and discussed at your Parent conference.

The Term 2 report has three main focuses:

1. To report on progress of students in meeting their next steps as shown in the interim (previous) report and where necessary define new learning goals.

2. To report on student achievement across the whole curriculum, with a particular emphasis on selected achievement aims that are a focus for our school.

3. To give students an opportunity to share examples of ways in which they have met our RISE values and the Key Competencies from the curriculum and show how they have been involved in the life of the school.

The written report is in conjunction with our 3 Way parent/student/teacher conferences which will be held on Wednesday 27 June and Tuesday 3 July and can be booked online using the instructions below (10 minutes duration each). Attending these conferences is a very important part of the parent/teacher team approach to your child’s learning; students will have an opportunity to present aspects of their learning and elaborate on the written report. Your child should also attend.

School will finish at 2:00pm on Wednesday 27 June and the usual time on Tuesday 3 July; bus students will be supervised until 3pm on Wednesday.

Booking Conferences Online

You can book a conference online by following these easy instructions:

1    Login to the website - the link is also available under 'Contacts' in the new Skool Loop app (see other instructions in this newsletter to download)

Login to www.schoolinterviews.co.nz and enter our school code: wbxmr

2    Enter your details

First, enter your name, your student’s name and your email address.

3    Choose your teacher

Select the room number and teacher from the ‘drop down’ list.

4    Choose Times

Select a time that suits you from the timetable by simply clicking on the time.

5    Finish

When you have finished, select the link for your interview timetable to be emailed to you. If you need to make a change, you can return to the site and do so. (Check your junk mail if not showing in your inbox.)

Conference bookings will close on Wednesday 27 June at midday. Should you not have the facility to book online, please get your child to collect a booking form from the library for completion by you and return to the class teacher.
