Would your family like the experience of a student living with you for a short time?

Last week’s prize draw was again a popular event.

Your student should have brought home a Waimea College prospectus for the 2020 Year 9s last week. These can be returned to Waimea College or Waimea Intermediate when completed.

The Mama Mia sequel is on its way with a private party showing for Family & Friends of WIS on Friday 3rd August at the Suter Theatre. Doors open at 7pm.

Some Waimea intermediate students have really been training hard again this year at Victory Boxing.

The RISE Awards reflect our school values of Respect, Integrity, Self-Management and Empathy. And WISE reflects learning; Wonder, Inquire, Self-reflect and Engage. Congratulations to the following students who received RISE and WISE Awards at assembly recently;

There are tummy bugs around again at the moment. If your child has vomited, they should stay off school for 48hrs from the last time they were sick. There are also a lot of coughs and colds starting again; sometimes a rest for a day will make all the difference in recovery-please phone the office before 9am if your child will be absent or email: absences@waimeaint.school.nz. Phone your local GP or Health Nurse if you are concerned.
