The Waipahihi Teaching & Learning Principles and Practices
Waipāhīhī School
Our CORE Learning Vision is underpinned by key principles that support our practices as team. These are then detailed by the actual practices that teachers draw on together.
Did you know?
When teachers teach together (co-teach) students are more likely to see increased gains in achievement. This is often a result of the accelerated professional development that comes from seeing colleagues teach, feedback on a teacher's practice and the shared problem-solving that is possible in teams. In addition, co-teaching teams report increased job satisfaction and the creation of social capital.
