Every Wednesday Brontë from Kia Kori Waitaha visits the Senior Learning Team.

Kia Kori visit Wairākei each Wednesday to take a physical activity session with a variety of students from the Senior Team. Brontë is our activity activator; and the tamariki love working with her. Last week the game played was a physical and strategic version of Tic Tac Toe/Noughts and Crosses. The photos attached are of this game.  

Kia Kori Waitaha is an initiative focused on encouraging physical activity, play, and active recreation among children (Tamariki) and youth (Rangatahi) in the Waitaha (Canterbury). Their plan is to promote engagement, creativity, and confidence through movement-based activities.
