Wairere have been working super hard and we are so impressed with our ākonga/students!

Here are a variety of photos of our Year 5 and 6 ākonga/students engaged in learning activities.

We have currently been taking part in the Keeping Ourselves Safe programme as you will be aware. Our students have been learning about Focus 1: Confident me, Focus 2: Safe and unsafe situations and safety in the digital technology world. The students have immersed themselves in each of the learning sessions. They have worked in groups discussing their opinions about a variety of scenarios and how they will keep themselves by making good choices. It has been pleasing to observe the respect ākonga have displayed towards each other when sharing their opinions and deciding most safe to least scenarios, and the path to safe decisions.
