Ka taea e koe - You can do it!
In the last two weeks in Whanau Groups we have had some fun learning different ways we can encourage each other. We practiced different phrases in English and Te Reo while encouraging each other through different games and activities.
There were many opportunities for students to work together across the learning teams and encourage each other including blindfold games, relays, running and making encouraging bookmarks. It’s great to see children enjoying each others’ company and helping each other across the school.
Here are some phrases we have learnt and practiced.
Karawhiua - Go for it
Kia kaha - Be strong, keep going
Ka rawe - That’s awesome
Ka taea e koe - You can do it
Kia mau - Hang in there
