IMAGINE Youth Theatre is offering open auditions for its Kidsfest Production ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS next Sunday from 4 - 6 pm. This production will have a core cast of 3 professionals and the opportunity for young people from 7 - 17 who love performing to join the cast for experience and mentoring in cameo roles, choral work, song and dance. All participants have individual lines and we tailor our productions to allow the young people to shine.

REGISTER FOR YOUR AUDITION!

Please email Helen at imagine.charitabletrust@gmail.com or text Helen on 021 044 1909 with your/your child's name and age, and a parent's name and mobile number. For the audition, prepare a fairly short speech, song or dance that shows your personality and joy of performing. 7 - 10 year olds 4 - 5pm &11 - 16 year olds 5 - 6 pm.

If the time doesn't suit we can accommodate you at a different time.

SUNDAY 13 MAY at St Ninians Hall, 9 Puriri St, Riccarton.

We rehearse Saturday 10 - 3 and Sunday 4 - 6 from May 19th - July 1st, apart from Queen's Birthday weekend where we rehearse only Monday 10 - 3. Then we pack in to Elmwood Theatre July 7 - 9 and perform 11 am and 1 pm every day from July 10 - 21 except Sunday July 15. Young people choose to be in Troupe A (July 10 - 12) Troupe B (July 13, 14, 16, 17) or Troupe C (July 18 - 21), to fit in with family holiday plans.

Woolston Brass Band - Vita Destructa
Sunday 6 May, 3pm-5pm - Christchurch Boys High School Auditorium, Te Kura Street (off 71 Straven Road, Fendalton)

To celebrate New Zealand Music Month Woolston Brass presents 'Vita Destructa'. A musical showcase of established and emerging New Zealand Composers, and talented musicians including Kiwi Euphonium Soloist Buzz Newton.
Door Sales available (Eftpos/Cash); Adult $30, Senior Citizen/Student/Unwaged $25, Child $15, Adult + 1 Child $30.
Parking is available on site at Christchurch Boys' High School in front of the main heritage building by the large field or on Te Kura Street. No parking on the grass please.
