The Ministry has confirmed our school enrolment zone which came into effect Term 1, 2019

The Ministry of Education has confirmed our enrolment zone and this came into effect for the 2019 school year.

If your child is already enrolled but lives outside of the zone and you will have notified us by the end of 2018 that a sibling is intending to enrol, they are still deemed to be in zone, as when the family enrolled, we had no zone and as such, that becomes our "zone".

There is now more rigorous paperwork that needs to be completed showing an intent to enrol and also a pre-enrolment form to complete whether in zone or out of zone. Please find the intent to enrol forms attached and complete and return to school as soon as possible.

About Our Enrolment Zone

All Children living in our enrolment zone are entitled to attend Wairakei School. Enrolments are taken at all levels throughout the year.

Providing there are places available, applications are welcome from those living out of zone.

Both sides of boundary roads are included unless specified otherwise.

From the intersection of Aorangi Road and Clyde Road North on Aorangi Road to Brookside Terrace, South east on Brookside Terrace to Ilam Road, East on Ilam Road to Wairakei Road, North west on Wairakei Road to the Hudson Street accessway at 216 Wairakei Road, North on the accessway to Hudson Street, North east on Hudson Street to Condell Avenue (including 148 Condell Avenue), West on Condell Avenue to Blanch Street, North on Blanch Street to Harris Crescent, North west then North on Harris Crescent to Harewood Road (including even numbered addresses from 74 to 88 Harris Crescent), North west on Harewood Road (south west side only) to Greers Road, South on Greers Road (east side only) to Grahams Road, South West on Grahams Road (south east side only) to Seven Oaks Drive (including even numbered addresses 190-220 Grahams Road), South east on Seven Oaks Drive to Greers Road, South on Greers Road to Clyde Road, South east on Clyde Road to Aorangi Road.
