There are a number of notifiable illnesses which can be contracted easily at school and here is a handy poster to help you know what to look for and how long to treat your child.

With Winter not far away there a number of illnesses going around, it is timely to remind our school community of the need to keep children at home until they are well.

Common illnesses at school which are notifiable (by year group or whole school on a case by case basis) are Strep Throat, chicken pox, headlice, school sores.

Please take note of the attachment, especially of the symptoms and exclusion from school lists. This is the chart which is used here at school to inform parents and families of exclusion times.

REMINDER:
Please ensure you contact the school office and let them know when your child is away from school. It is also helpful for us to know what their condition is, especially if it is on the notifiable list attached.
