All Wairakei tamariki have been part of a week long residency music programme with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.

Earlier this term we were fortunate to have the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra come to Wairakei for an entire week so that all our tamariki were able to be part of the CSO week long residency programme. 

It was amazing to see the interest, enthusiasm and joy on the face of the students as they were  involved in composing, practising and performing music. 

A huge thank you to Cathy and the team from the CSO for all their efforts for what was a memorable week.
