In Wai-iti, we've think the best way to write about something it to have experienced it.

In order to write instructions for 'how to make an ice cream', we first made our own ice creams and recalled the steps to write instructions.  Lots of trial and error, a little bit of mess, a bent spoon or two and lots of fun!
