Steptember!
Alice Harris, Megan Watson, Millie Hume and Bronwyn Harding are stepping out for the month of September.
The main cause for Steptember is to benefit New Zealanders with cerebral palsy - a debilitating disorder that appears in early childhood which can limit physical movement. It can be a chronic or long-lasting illness which can cause poor coordination, stiff muscles, weak limbs, trouble swallowing and speaking, and tremors, among others.
About 7000 people suffer from the condition in New Zealand, and a third of those people are under the age of 21. It is the most common physical disability in childhood.
The team are having to walk at least 10,000 steps each per day for the month of September. If you would like to donate please follow the link! Click on the purple donate button on the top right hand side to donate to a team member, and all funds raised by team members will be combined to reach the team target.
Thank you in advance.
