On Tuesday 6 November an Absolutely Brilliant team of athletes did their very best for themselves and their school at NW Zones.

A lovely sunny day saw our tamariki sprinting, jumping, leaping and throwing to the best of their abilities. There were some close seconds in heats and some 4th and 5th placings in events. No podium finishes, until Elsie Kate cleared 1.24metres in the Year 6 High Jump to take out first place and go through to Canterburys, which will be held in early December.

Our athletes were supported by some amazing parents who cheered everyone on and helped the day run smoothly. Thank you very much to you all for your assistance and positivity. A huge thank you too, to our wonderful children who represented the school well and should be proud of their efforts.
