We like to celebrate success for everyone at Wairakei School and we want to congratulate Millie on becoming a Fully Registered Teacher.

A number of staff attended the Registering teacher ceremony held on December 3rd to celebrate Millie becoming a fully registered teacher.

All teachers are provisionally registered for two years after graduating with their teaching degree. As part of the pathway to becoming a registered teacher, a teacher in their first two years is supported and guided by the school and a Tutor Teacher, who is an experienced teacher.

After successfully completing all the requirements, the teacher is signed off by the principal and becomes fully registered.

Congratulations to Millie,  and a huge thanks to her family and to our school for supporting and guiding a new teacher to full registration.
