Safety at the Gate

Shane Buckner —

It is very important to be mindful of where you are dropping your child off before school.

Please remember to park in allocated places, and not double park. The only supervised crossing point we have is at the traffic lights  on the corner of Greers and Wairakei Roads which is supervised by Mr Shakespeare and the Road Patrollers each morning, and again in the afternoon by a rostered teacher and the Road Patrollers.

Manor Place can be used for parking, as can Saffron St. However, please do not park on the yellow lines or across driveways. We have regular police and parking enforcement officers patrolling these areas for us.

Please do not drive into the driveways and drop your child off.

It is also not appropriate or safe to use The Willows as a car park or drive through. This is private property, and we have a great working relationship with the owners and staff of The Willows.

We are still working with the Council with regards to safe pedestrian crossings on Wairakei Road. We will keep you informed as we progress this.
