This term we have been learning about sustainability. As part of this, the children have designed and created different items using recycled materials. The children got the opportunity to show off their designs on Friday at their very own Otakaro Wearable Arts show!

The children got to choose from three options - capes/clocks, hats and jewellery. As part of the design process, they drew what they wanted their wearable art piece to look like and included different recycled materials. Over two weeks the children got to make their designs with the help of the teachers. On Friday 29th of November, the children took part in a parade showcasing their fabulous wearable art pieces.
