Wednesday 22nd July saw eight of our finest cross country runners representing Wairakei at the Zone cross country races at Jellie Park.

A huge round of applause needs to go to our amazing runners for braving a cold afternoon and trying their very best to run around the 2km course as fast as their little legs could carry them!! 

I am thrilled to announce that the following athletes may go on to Canterbury Representative Cross Country due to their great placings in their races:- Katie Higham, Cooper Titterton-Leckie, Emilie Donald, Toby Moyle and Magnus Davidson. 

A fantastic effort from everyone and a huge 'thank-you' for the lovely parents that came down to support and encourage our runners.
