CONGRATULATIONS to the Year 5 & 6 basketball team who won their final to become champions of their division.

The Wairakei School Year 5 & 6 basketball team won their final tonight, Thursday 24 September, to win the Division 3 Year 5 & 6  2020 YMCA Basketball Schools Competition.

They have had an amazing season and have won all their games. They are a great group of basketball players who worked amazingly well together, throughout the season. A huge thanks to 'Super Coach Shaun'. His contribution to the students at Wairakei School is hugely appreciated.
