Week 8, Term 1 2025 Newsletter

Kia ora koutou,

Our ākonga/students have been fully engaged in their learning, and this newsletter highlights some of the wonderful things happening in our kura.

We truly value our partnership with you and appreciate your ongoing support. Attendance remains a key priority, —thank you for ensuring your tamariki are at school and ready to learn.

This year, we’re implementing the revised Maths and English curriculum, with a strong emphasis and focus on structured literacy and maths. Our teachers are engaged in professional learning, which is already making a positive impact on student progress. In Term 2, we will have another curriculum day, collaborating with our Kāhui Ako colleagues to further strengthen teaching and learning. This is a Teacher Only Day and school is closed for instruction. Please see the information in this article. We appreciate your continued support.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out, principal@wairakeichch.school.nz

Ngā mihi
