The Wairere team started the term with their Absolutely Brilliant Auction.

The children earn Wairakei Dollars throughout the term when they display our school characteristics. They save these up and can spend these dollars at our auction once a semester. The 'Principal's Assistant for a Day' item earned top dollar as did the mystery packages! Some children chose to save their money and watch their savings grow. Mr Mokotupu was the auctioneer extraordinaire.
