Block 3 ready to start by Shane Buckner
Shane Buckner — April 29, 2017
Both the Wairere and Wai-iti Learning Communities have moved into their new spaces today. We are going to have a full opening celebration at the beginning of next term once the third block has been completed.
You will notice the security fencing has moved to Block 3 - the Junior Block - for this term. Demolition work of the inside of this block will begin during this week with completion by the end of the term.
While the majority of the inside work has been completed to allow both the Wairere and Wai-iti teams to move into their new spaces, there are still some small works to be completed which will be done after hours.
We have received our Certificate of Occupancy from the Council for these two blocks. This can be viewed in the admin area if required.
The external work for our buildings has also begun. There is a fair amount of replacement of our 70 year old weather boards, and once this is completed, a total repaint of the school will be undertaken.
