Our Choir sharing at assembly by Shane Buckner
Lisa Grieve — May 24, 2017
The senior Wairere Choir has been working hard to prepare for the North West Festival at the Aurora Centre this Wednesday.
29 Children of the Wairakei Senior Choir, many of which are new to Choirs, will perform as part of some schools on our side of town whom get together to sing, play instruments and enjoy a night of music. The choir will perform two songs of their own "We Go Together" and "Better When I'm Dancin'".
Lisa Grieve, Wai-iti team teacher practices every Friday with the students and the last 10 weeks of practices have prepared us for this concert.
To purchase tickets, please pay $10 at the office to secure a ticket. After the families are offered tickets, then it becomes first come first served. Look forward to seeing you there.
