As part of our geometry focus in Otakaro, we've been exploring the shapes we can find in the world around us.
We've had so much fun finding shapes all around us as we explore geometry as part of our math focus. We've been reading a hugely popular book called 'Shape Song Swingalong' in which all the illustrations are in basic shapes, which has inspired the students to find shapes everywhere they look and to create their own illustrations using the shapes they know.
