Otakaro Action Learning Stations in action!

Janice YehAugust 6, 2017

Each week, children actively explore engaging Action Learning Stations in a structured environment.

These explicit activities are targeted towards building a solid foundation for strong literacy skills. The interconnected domains that we cover are Auditory skills, Oracy, Movement, Visual skills and Print.

The children are encouraged to discuss their learning, make connections with their prior knowledge, participate and make choices which contribute to their learning and challenge their thinking.

Here is a snapshot of some of the things which the Otakaro children have been up to in Term 3.
