Wairere winter sports Assembly

Time, treasure or talent.  No one can do everything but everyone can do something.  We say thank you to  coaches and supporters.  

What a whirlwind winter! From start to finish you were incredible supporters and coaches , and because of your dedication and hard work, our winter sports was a breeze. Thank you so much for your commitment of time and energy to our teams.

The assembly started with the presentation of our certificates for most improved, most consistent and most promising player for the season.  Congratulations to the following players for demonstrating all of our Absolutely Brilliant Wairakei vision characteristics.

Hockey Red - Most Improved Shalika Chand, Most Consistent Kate Pangilinan, Most Promising Julia Christensen. 

Hockey Blue - Most Improved Kylah Harris, Most Consistent Penny Moore, Most Promising Imogen Vangioni.

Basketball Red -  Most Improved Uneeb Ahmed, Most Consistent Oliver Murphy, Most Promising Brodie Radbourne.

Basketball Blue - Most Improved Alex Bryant, Most Consistent Samyuktha Venkataraman, Most Promising Samuel Youngman. 

Soccer Red - Most Improved Chaewon Im, Most Consistent Shammas Ahmed, Most Promising Mahdi Mohamadi.

Soccer Blue - Most Improved Tobi Gardner, Most Consistent Liam Smith, Most Promising Willie Lourens.

Netball Red - Most Improved Maria Button, Most Consistent Gabriela Cowell, Most Promising Sarah Higham. 

Netball Blue - Most Improved Madison Taylor, Most Consistent Bridie Holmes, Most Promising Summer Hennig.

Rugby Wairakei Warriors - Most Improved Eligh Fitzgerald-Broad, Most Consistent Donte Tahuhu-Wilson, Most Promising Samuel Vincent. Most Versatile Thomas Vesty.  Forward of the Season Kobe Bearman, Back of the Season Lewis Kereama.  

We finished the assembly by presenting a gift to our coaches and supporters for this year.
