On Fridays, the Wairere team are learning all about different cultures. We have started our cultural study on Samoa.
We have been very lucky to have Matua Peter to come in and teach us a traditional Samoan song. When the Wairere team have learned this song we will be sharing it with the rest of the school. It is Mr. Buckners favourite song and we are very excited to be able to share it with everyone.
We have also been learning about counting in Samoan and have started researching tapa cloths. We are hoping to start making our own tapa cloths soon. Watch this space!
