A huge well done to all the finalists. So awesome to see so many Waitakians past and present doing so well in their chosen sporting field

Our current students that were finalists  were:
Luke Hayman (mountainbiking) and Connor Bolitho (squash) for the Junior Sportsman category and our Junior Basketball team being represented by Danyon Ashcroft and Taz Selfe in the Teams category. Being a finalist is a great achievement in itself - well done boys.
The WBHS old boys that were winners taking out their categories tonight are:
Junior Sportsman = Max de Geest (Bball),
Official = Nick Webster (Rugby ref),
Team = James Scott & Logan (Rowing),
Special Award = Mike Sandri (Ultra marathon),
Sportsman = Tim Rush (mountainbiking),
Overall Supreme Sportsperson = Max de Geest.
Well done also to Nathan Smith (cricket) and Mark Taylor (rowing) for being finalists in the Sportsman of the Year category.
