Weston school has seen a growth in numbers and have been approved to build a block of three new classrooms. The year 12s used what they have learnt in graphics to teach the year 7 and 8s how to generate conceptual floor plans for their new classrooms. Next week the class will visit Waitaki Boys' High School to learn how to model their designs using CAD(computer aided design).

Their principal, Deirdre Senior, will pick the best design to be built on the Weston school campus. It was a great learning experience for the year 7s, 8s and year 12s.
