Last weekend saw the Oamaru Multisport Club run their annual Triathlon/Duathlon at Friendly Bay. This event also doubles as the South Island Secondary School Champs.

WGHS entered 23 athletes in the SISS Triathlon/Duathlon Champs, with 13 doing individual races and 10 entering as part of a team.

Senior Girls Triathlon Team (Alice Petrie, Brylee Milmine, Shelby Johnston) - 1st Junior Girls Triathlon Team (Sophie Rohrbach, Breanna Kingan, Charlotte Lane) - 1st Senior Girls Individual Duathlon Lily Rawson - 2nd Intermediate Girls Duathlon Team (Georgia Hawkins & Amy Perry) - 1st Junior Girls Individual Triathlon Natalie Bedford - 3rd Junior Girls Duathlon Team (Olive Haywood & Phoebe Wickham) - 1st
