International Women's Day is an annual event that celebrates the achievements of women all around the world.

On March 8th 1911, the first International Women's Day was celebrated and now, 110 years later, we are still recognising it at Waitaki Girls' High School.  As we are an all-girls school, it is important to show everyone that women can do anything.  The 2021 librarians have come together to create a display in the entrance into the library to celebrate this day and show the girls some of the inspirational women of the world.
