This year, Enviro Club are focused on our school’s waste management.

We have worked with Linda at the school canteen to come up with a promotion to encourage students to bring their own reusable containers for their lunch orders. This reduces the amount of waste our school produces and in turn reduces the amount of materials the canteen uses. For the rest of term 3, when students bring in their reusable containers for at the canteen their name gets put in the draw to win a free lunch of their choice from the canteen. Winners will be drawn weekly. We hope that this acts as an incentive to encourage students to bring their own containers in the future, as well as being more conscious about the waste we produce every day.
