Resilience Workshop
On Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th November, we suspended our usual timetable so that Year 9 & 10 students could participate in a workshop on resilience and well-being facilitated by Ange Rathbone and Marcelle Nader-Turner of Dunedin.
This is the feedback we received from from Marcelle and Ange:
"Wow!
We have absolutely loved our 2 days with stunning young people who engaged and shared their korero with us and each other. They were warm, welcoming and respectful. All of the staff we met were friendly and encouraging.
We both want to thank you so much for this opportunity for allowing and trusting us to present and facilitate our emotions and resilience workshops."
Student feedback collected by Marcelle and Ange reflected a very positive
"Yay"
to the workshops.
During these two days, our staff ran other workshops (eg: creative writing, making of Kōauau musical instruments using clay, STEM; film festival) and it was great to see the high level of student engagement. Thank you to everyone involved.
