On December 3rd, Waitaki Girls' High School held our Year 9 Transition day for all Year 8 students from contributing schools who will attend our school in 2022.

The day was action-packed with a range of taster lessons and activities, from live action 'Hungry Hippo' to mask design and science experiments. Lunch was catered by our hostel and the sun came out for a game of T-ball in the afternoon. We greatly enjoyed getting to know the Year 8 girls and look forward to them being a part of our school community.
