On Friday the 25th of November our Year 12 students attended a Leadership Training Day working with the Southern Youth Development (SYD).

This was a day where we all worked together and in separate groups doing fun activities preparing for our leadership in 2023 and supporting the incoming Year 9s.

The activities we participated in were: putting the world map back together, all aboard, the rope game and a number of other fun activities. The whole day involved a lot of laughs and we all learnt a lot. We learnt how we each have each other to fall back on if needed, that leadership does not particularly mean taking charge but communicating well, working together and supporting each person the right way for them, not just what works for ourselves. I would like to say all of us Year 12's are excited and ready for 2023!
