We left in the mizzle, expecting a dreary day for our tournament - only to arrive in Timaru to blazing sun! This turn of weather systems reflected our blazing glory. After four games in lethargy-causing heat, proceeded by near gale-force winds, we established ourselves as the No 1. girls' team in Aoraki!!!

The coaching from Holly Taylor and Meadow Neill was second-to-none and our thanks to Mum-on-board Teresa Mavor for assisting in uniform and gazebo near-misses. One of our opposition players broke two wrists and we got off scot-free without even a sunburnt snoz! Wonderful work all around, we look forward to maintaining our position in 2021.
