WGHS is the recipient of sponsorship from Network Waitaki to help with the purchase of badges to acknowledge and encourage our students.

As a school we award badges to acknowledge student participation in school activities and for sporting and academic achievements.  These range from badges for our librarians, NCEA merit and excellence awards, to sports blues and peer support programmes.
