Mrs Beckingsale's Year 12 POS ED was lucky to attend a session focussed on maintaining a vehicle and changing a vehicle tyre last week.

Students saw how to use a jack, chock the wheels, locate a spare, remove and change to a spare tyre, top up water and check and change oil safely.

We were very grateful to the team from Advantage Tyres Oamaru for sharing their expertise and time with us. Many girls expressed that they were planning on heading home to check they had what they needed to deal with the event of having a flat tyre, it was a most valuable session!
