The students of 9KA and 9KI Social Studies classes recently assumed a new role in class, that of teacher.

Students worked in groups to present different environmental issues affecting our Pacific Island neighbours. It was up to each group as to how they would present the information they unearthed, and what notes or diagrams the rest of the class would need to take.

Most groups produced a google slides presentation but one group presented a very memorable play about deforestation. Students were able to display a range of skills including organisation, leadership, research and presentation, and some students displayed real teacher qualities.
