On Friday the 12th of August, the newly made Waitaki eSports team headed to their first ever Triangular Tournament at Otago Girls' High School.

Although the Waitaki team came home with a defeat in League of Legends, not everything was a loss.

The Waitaki and Otago Girls’ eSports teams had plenty of fun and picked up many tips and tricks for future games. The team even got to try out Valorant for the first time!

Overall, both teams had great fun and had a lovely experience, and we are hyped to do it again next year!

We are also part of the Otago High School eSports league and have been playing matches every Thursday this term. Even though we have yet to win a game, we are gaining experience with every match and are looking forward to the playoffs which will start soon.
