This week saw a variety of tournaments organised in Timaru for junior students of the Aoraki Secondary School region.

This year WGHS sent teams to play Touch, Ki-o-Rahi, Volleyball and Beach Rippa. All of the teams had a great time and we came away with some great results as well!

Ki-o-Rahi, Volleyball and Beach Rippa were all taken out by WGHS teams, amazing effort girls!

Our Volleyball team had been training hard working up to this event under the calm guidance of senior players Paris and Lei. Their efforts were rewarded with the team winning their final against SKC in two sets, 25-23, 25-23, placing them 1st of 13 teams.
