Next term, the Waitaki Girls High School's Amnesty International group for 2022 is preparing for the annual Freedom Challenge week which is being held from August the 8th to the 12th.

The theme for this year's challenge is THE AGE OF CRIMINAL RESPONSIBILITY. All funds raised will be going towards this cause.

The Amnesty group will be raising funds by selling badges and bumper stickers throughout the week at both lunchtimes and intervals. We will also publish press releases for the whanau groups, keeping them updated with current information. The week will end with us holding our World Famous Bake Sale which will include lovely homemade sweet treats that you can come and purchase, as well as helping this worthy cause!

We are thoroughly looking forward to Freedom Challenge week and would love to see the whole school getting involved!
