On the 2nd August a small team from Oamaru travelled to Christchurch to compete in the first of 3 Trampoline competitions that make up the 2020 Super Series that is a ‘replacement’ for the cancelled regional and national events.

In the team are Samantha Atley and Charlotte Lane who have been regular members for over 3 years now. They train up to 4 hours a week and have been working hard on their routines to improve their form, execution and difficulty level so it came as no surprise that both have come home with medals.

Sam gained Gold in the Double Mini Trampoline and Silver in Individual Trampoline.

Charlotte won Silver in Double Mini Trampoline and Bronze in Individual Trampoline.

Their scores will now be ‘banked’ and added to those gained in the next 2 competitions to determine South Island Champions in each event at each age group. A really promising beginning to what has been a slow start to the competitive year.
