A few weeks ago, the Waitaki Way Consultation Group organised a competition after Ms Koni suggested that we come up with a name for our school newsletter, other than Newsletter!

After careful consideration and a Waitaki Way Consultation Group vote, the name 'In the Frame' was deemed the most fitting, in recognition of past Waitaki Girls' High School student and renowned author, Janet Frame. 

So as of today, our school newsletter will have a new name. This name was suggested by Year 9 student, Abby Hayes who won a lovely prize package for her creative thinking. Well done, Abby!
