Welcome to the Waitaki Girls’ High School Careers and Transition page. Our team are to happy to help you navigate your career development pathway. Come into the Career Office any time and one of our staff can guide you in the right direction. You can pick up information as you pass by the career office also. Check out the career calendar for opportunities for you to get involved in.

To discuss your interests, subject choices, talents and career aspirations, you need to make an appointment with Mrs Hay. Email Mrs Hay or fill in the booking sheet outside the Careers Office. The Careers office is located next to the guidance office, first left in the Junior block. Please ensure that you are not missing any exams, assessments or important lessons when you make an appointment time. Parents are welcome to attend. Priority goes to Year 13's. All students in Year 10 – 12 will receive an appointment to discuss career options, subject choice through out the year, but if you have an urgent question or need help please sign up and come and see us. Year 9-12 students can come outside class times, interval and lunchtimes unless by special arrangement.
