“I was given the opportunity alongside Lauren Moon, Kayla Akurangi-Pirika and Kirsten Rogers to go to Otago Polytech and see what the first year of Culinary Arts is about by attending a dessert evening the first-year students put on for us.

Not only did we get to try a variety of desserts we also got given the components to plate our own. We were able to meet the first-year students and talk to them about what the first year of study was about, which reinforced my decision to apply for the Bachelor of Culinary Arts for next year.” - Lauren Judd
