Hanmer Camp

Year 12 Camp Leaders —

From the 3rd to the 8th December, Year 10 camp took place in Hanmer Springs despite having another year full of Covid interruptions and continuous changes of plans.

The week was full of mountain biking, rock climbing, tree climbing, rafting, jet boating, horse riding, water slides and hot pools, orienteering, an overnight tramp out to the Molesworth station, and Ms Mac’s famous “Olympic” activities which all 5 groups participated in. All activities gave the students a chance to be able to be pushed out of their comfort zone and experience new things. There were many laughs and memories made which I’m sure the students, staff, and us, will treasure forever. We are beyond proud of all the individual growth seen within each student and the group progress expressed throughout this time.. We would also like to say a huge thank you to all the staff and parents that were involved that made this week possible! All the behind the scenes work and organisation you all put into this doesn’t go unnoticed and we hugely appreciate it. You have made this week an absolute blast for all of us and we have loved the humour you have all provided for us as well!!
