Our trapshooting team headed away again over the weekend, this time to compete in a 2 day event in Wanaka & Alexandra.

Our trapshooting team of Mikayla Bryant, Ashley Nicholson and Bethany Paisley competed at the Wanaka and Alexandra competitions on 29th & 30th August. Below is a summary of the weekend from team manager Sarah Bryant.

Girls weekend away shooting went well.

Wanaka Results:

Mikayla 1st in Ladies single rise, 1st in Ladies point score and High overall for Ladies.

Ashley 1st juniors skeet, single rise junior, single barrel junior.Bethany 1st ladies skeetMikayla and Bethany placed 2nd in the skeet team shoot.

Alexandra Results:

Mikayla shot a 25-25 in skeet to place her 1st she shot off for HOA but missed 1 target.

Mikayla made the 5 person Otago DTL team they shot against Southland team and won with a impressive score of 116-101.

Ashley and Bethany made the 3 person Otago skeet team and shot against Southland they also won 63-58 points.

Overall a very successful weekend, girls shot very well and represented the school with high standards.All girls shot some impressive scores.
