Year 11 Science problem-solving

Mrs Lilly - HOL Science —

Year 11 Science have just started their Genetics topic and were challenged to build a model to represent the double helix nature of DNA.

Using lollies, the model needed to show the phosphates, deoxyribose sugars and base pairs clearly. Each group needed to be able to explain how the model showed DNA’s structure, and they only had 15 minutes to work together to make this happen. I was impressed with how each group approached this problem solving challenge.
